On Sunday, activist Aires Rodrigues has filed a complaint with the Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department, the Chief Secretary of Goa and the Director General of Police, calling the meeting illegal. It was requested to register a first information report against the organizers of the meeting held on Saturday morning.
Attending the meeting were Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Minister of State, Department of AYUSH, Sripad Naik, South Goa MP Narendra Savaikar and head of Vital BJP Vinay Tendulkar, and other ministers.
“If there is no knowledge of my complaint and an FIR did not appear, I will refer to the court,” said Rodrigues Scroll. He said the meeting was held in violation of airport law and regulations. He said that article 141 of the Criminal Code of India (illicit association) had been violated.
